How long have you been in business?
Over 20 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Interior design and decorating fabrication. All soft treatments inside and outside of your home. We also sew products and clothing for designers and entrepreneurs wanting to get their ideas out to the public.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always enjoyed pleasing people by making beautiful sewn products for them to enjoy. Personally I have been sewing for over 30 years and know quality workmanship. My company is a network of women in Western North Carolina that have years of experience in sewn goods. We have sewn products, accessories and clothing for designers and entrepreneurs wanting to get their ideas and products out into the hands of the consumer. SewLink started before the textile industry left the country and we have stilled survived and thrived since 1991. In 1999 we added the Home Decor market to our sewing contracting.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My business started with the concept of giving my work away to allow more women to be able to also make a living from their high quality sewing techniques. SewLink is a network of fantastic high end seamstresses with an eye for detail.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have the one manufacturing location.
