Custom steel door and door frames. Made to order, quick ship within 10-working days (typical lead time), with a good number of our orders shipping out faster on RUSH Programs.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Business was started by Morris I. Karpen, and is now being run by his daughter, Rachel S. Smith, and her business partner, Eric C. Henken.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Made Right. On Time. High quality product and service in a "commodity" style industry.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located in Western North Carolina only, and ship all over the United States from this location. No plans to expand into other locations.
Which areas do you service?
We service distributors in the United States, some of who in turn sell our product in different parts of the world. There are no retail sales.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
You made me look good, the product arrived on time, and installed with no issues.
