RiverLink is a regional non-profit spearheading the revitalization of the French Broad River.
Since 1987 we have engaged in simultaneous efforts to address water quality concerns throughout the French Broad River basin, expand public opportunities for access and recreation, and spearhead the economic revitalization of Asheville's dilapidated riverfront district.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In April 1989, RiverLink, then known as the French Broad Riverfront Planning Committee, a loosely knit unincorporated group of volunteers, came together under the auspices of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce and the French Broad River Foundation to develop a plan for the Asheville Riverfront. The Chamber was primarily interested in the economic development opportunities that the river offered. The French Broad River Foundation's primary concern was better river access and improved water quality. The two groups merged and RiverLink was born.

We're the best environmental non-profit in the area, as voted by local citizens five years in a row.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, and of course we want to expand.
