Clausen Instrument Co. Inc. has been in business since 1974.
What is your primary product or service?
Clausen Instrument provides sales and service for surveying and construction instrumentation such as Total Stations, Levels, Lasers, GPS, Robotics as well as relative supplies & accessories.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Clausen Instrument was started by Wayne Clausen Sr in 1974 after working for K&E as a optical tooling specialist and service dept manager. He was an artillery surveyor in the Marine Corps. This is a family run business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
With years of experience in instrument repair and understanding the needs of the customer and the applications they are doing.

From exit 59 on I40 in Swannanoa come down the access road to the light on 70. Turn right towards Asheville and get in the right lane. The first two driveways on the right are for the BP> Subway gas station. The next tweo are where we are located in the Swannanoa Plaza across from the Shell station and Burger King.
